Afreum($AFR) is a revolutionary blockchain project that aims to bring financial inclusion to the African continent through an ecosystem of payments and DeFi apps. The ecosystem is built on the Stellar blockchain and is powered by the AFR token, along with a suite of local African country tokens.
Afreum has already launched several apps that provide a range of financial solutions, including Afreum Wallet (a digital wallet), Afreum Save (an interest-bearing savings and time deposit service), Afreum Earn (liquidity pool swapping and staking), and Afreum Cash (a P2P exchange).
The project incentivizes international actors to provide liquidity for the ecosystem, which helps drive crypto adoption in Africa. The end goal is to bring international crypto enthusiasts and African users together to solve financial problems in Africa.
