AscendEX's native platform token is ASD (formerly BTMX). ASD token holders are entitled to a variety of VIP benefits, including reduced trading fees, access to AscendEX initial exchange offerings ("IEOs"), and appealing staking rewards.
ASD has a token supply that is deflationary due to "consumption." The current supply of ASD is approximately 743,000,000, and the total number of ASD in circulation will never exceed this figure. ASD is used on AscendEX to purchase goods and services, so it is consumed on a daily basis. ASD is permanently locked once consumed, similar to the "burn" model used by other popular exchange utility tokens.
