BondAppetit is a DeFi lending protocol that uses a stablecoin, USDap, which is fully backed by yield-generating bonds stored with a licensed custodian in a stable jurisdiction. The bonds' availability can be checked at any time on bondappetit.com/collateral with digitally signed data transmitted from the custodian to prevent spoofing. The stablecoin, USDap, is based on Ethereum and is only issued if the protocol has sufficient collateral, ensuring its price remains at $1 at all times.
