Nuco.cloud is a unique sharing economy platform that offers a new way to monetize unused computing power of your smartphone, computer, or server. The platform is based on BOINC (Berkley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing), a technology created by a team based at Space Science Laboratory in 2002 to support scientific research in need of large computing calculations. With the easy-to-use nuco.client app, users can connect their computing power into a decentralized "supercomputer" and earn nuco tokens in return.
Nuco.cloud offers a blockchain-based platform for instant payment in nuco tokens, which can be further used to purchase computing power or exchanged to other cryptocurrencies or FIAT currencies like dollars, euros, and pound sterling. The project has received a grant from the German government, making it the first-ever blockchain project to do so.
For large enterprises and professional customers, Nuco.compute offers a professional version of nuco.cloud, providing an extra layer of security and control over the platform's features. Customers can choose specific hardware to be used, the latency, throughput, geographic location, and data security level certificates. Calculations are only done by professional data centres with a high level of security.
